The Lorain County Budget Department is responsible for assisting Elected Officials and Department Heads, to ensure that they have sufficient resources to operate effectively and efficiently, based upon current revenue availability.
To successfully achieve this, the Budget Department must monitor the annual budgets, conduct research for special projects along with analysis of fiscal policy and also provide management consulting services as requested by the Board of Commissioners, the County Administrator, other Elected Officials and Department Managers.
