At the Lorain County Crime/Drug Lab, our main goal is to serve the citizens of Lorain County with trustworthy, quick, and accurate forensic processes. Ohio is still suffering the effects of the opioid epidemic. Our lab gives support to courts, law enforcement, and recovery programs who are on the front lines of this epidemic. We offer services for monitoring clients in addiction recovery and science based drug testing for law enforcement. We are dedicated to following local and national drug abuse trends to inform the public of potential hazards.
The following services of the Lorain County Drug/Crime Lab are provided to County-wide agencies, County and municipal courts, treatment facilities, and law enforcement agencies.
