2nd Annual Photo Contest
The Board of Commissioners invites the community to submit their photographs that capture the beauty of our County, especially Lorain County lighting! Winning photographs will be featured on this website and in the Spring 2011 issue of the LorainCounty.Us Newsletter. Additional prize information will be forthcoming. All photos used on this site will give due Photo Credit to the photographer.
Photographs from all seasons will be accepted, but all entries must be taken in LorainCounty during the past year (January 2010-December 2010). Photographers should submit only their best work to be judged. For ideas, view the 2009 Winners. The submission deadline is December 31, 2010.
Professional photographers (persons earning more than 50 percent of their income from photography) must contact us and include a publication rights release with their photos. Employees of LorainCounty and their families are not eligible to enter the contest. Photographers must be residents of LorainCounty to submit their photos. All photo entries become the property of LorainCounty for use in publications and promotional materials. Select photos may be used on pages of this website, LorainCounty.Us.
