Also adjacent to a public golf course and are close to the city, shopping, dining, and the open waters of Lake Erie. Inland docks and rack storage provide shelter from the harsh storms. Lorain Harbor Boat Club LHBC is located along the Black River in Lorain, Ohio, adjacent to the US Coast Guard station. LHBC holds the proud honor of being the longest operating boating club on Lake Erie. Being in Lorain affords us easy access to both Cleveland and the Lake Erie island region -- either less than half a days sail away.
